  Qualifications and requirements
  Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Minimum of two years experience in professional nursing in which leadership ability has been demonstrated.

  Department/Unit Summary

  The primary responsibility involves educating staff and nursing students through simulation lab and clinical instruction. Duties include managing simulation lab operations, supporting the new grad nurse residency program, and collaborating with the Education Coordinator and Director to ensure safe, effective use of the lab. The educator also serves as a clinical instructor as needed and participates in course planning, student advising, committee service, and other educational activities.
