- Contribute to treating patients during clinical emergencies.
- Receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedures.
- Maintain health, safety and the control of infection in clinical work areas.
- Support, monitor and care for patients during clinical procedures
- To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team
- To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care.
- Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Pre-Operative Environment
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres
- Registered with NMC
