      About the role
      The Registered Nurse working within the Virtual Drug and Alcohol Team will be responsible for providing assessment, case management, referral and follow up for clients seeking assistance with substance use problems. You will be working in a small, dynamic team to provide support to clients with substance use issues.

      We offer a therapeutic milieu, in a non-judgmental manner, to drug dependent persons. You will also be supporting the community, generalist health professionals and general practitioners.

      You will be able work both virtually and with Outreach to areas within the WNSWLHD. The work hours are Monday to Friday. We are a Multidisciplinary team within the drug and alcohol field.

      You will be working with Nurse Practitioner’s, Medical Officers, Nurses, NGO’s. Supported by the Team Lead and Clinical Lead of the service as well as other senior nursing staff.
