  What you'll be doing
  
  Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
  
  The primary purpose of MNC Virtual Care is to reduce preventable admissions and decrease length of hospital stay through Urgent Care service delivery, early intervention and care navigation to people who have been identified as at risk of presentation and hospitalisation for low acuity conditions that can be safely managed over a virtual platform.
  
  
  Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx .

  1. Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  2. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessment in the virtual environment using critical thinking.
  3. Demonstrated nursing skills knowledge and ability transferrable to virtual Urgent Care delivery.
  4. Demonstrated ability to assess priorities independently and escalate appropriately in a dynamic environment including recognition and appropriate timely clinical response to clinical deterioration.
  5. Demonstrated effective clinical communication and willingness to learn new information technology applications, with high level written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, utilizing a broad range of technology platforms.
  6. Demonstrated ability to actively promote, participate and engage in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients, and support a culture of patient safety, clinical quality and innovation.
  7. Capacity to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays and shift work.
  8. Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to drive for work purposes.
