If so, our Band 4 Physical Healthcare Worker role in our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team may be the role for you!
Crawley ATS are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Nursing Associate with experience in venepuncture. It will be your responsibility to coordinate and undertake physical health assessments for our Client Group with support from band 6 staff and medical staff. This will involve visiting and carrying out assessments in the community for hard to engage patients (with another member of staff). This post is for 37.5 hours per week. Your role may also involve other tasks around supporting and building relationships with patients, depending on your experience.
Main duties of the job
We are a well-staffed multi-disciplinary team made up of Social Workers, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, a Psychologist, Psychiatrists, Support Workers, Peer Support Worker and a Pharmacy Technician. We operate as a team within a creative and flexible approach and provide shared responsibility of risk management to support our service users who have a primary diagnosis of psychosis. We run groups for service users and has a biopsychosocial approach to support.
Your role will involve supporting Lead Practitioners with their complex caseload and physical health checks. Your role may, at times, also involve undertaking duty tasks including supporting patients in crisis, with medication related matters and practical support to service users by building up long term relationships with them.
