- Req#: 23735
- Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology

Redwood Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Redondo Beach, CA, area for everything pet-related! We are a three-doctor hospital looking for an additional team member to help our team grow and to support our growing clientele. We primarily treat dogs and cats, but do see the occasional rabbit and pocket pet!
We have a fabulous location near the beach with a wonderful team. Many of our support staff members have been with us for over 10 years! We have a great workflow and even better clients, with an opportunity to be a high producer quickly. We do have boarded surgeons who come to our hospital twice a month to help with complicated surgeries.
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician at Redwood Animal Hospital to join our expanding team and help us provide excellent experiences for our clients and their pets.
