      Overview

      The School of Graduate Studies seeks a Registrar and Admissions Assistant to support operations in the Graduate School office. Responsibilities will include managing electronic forms, processing application materials, managing student records in Banner, answering questions from email and telephone inquiries, calculating admission GPAs, supporting graduate recruitment and training events, and supporting other operations within the School of Graduate Studies.

      This position is eligible for hybrid work within the state of Utah

      Responsibilities

      • Manage electronic forms in ServiceNow (verifying information, tracking status).
      • Maintain the Graduate Faculty database.
      • Manage the Graduate School general email account, replying to inquiries or directing questions as appropriate.
      • Support and train Graduate Program Coordinators.
      • Process graduate applications as needed, download transcripts, calculate GPAs.
      • Support graduate student recruitment efforts, new graduate student orientation, and graduate training.
      • Support Graduate Registrar in maintaining student records.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Customer service experience
      • Proficiency using Banner
      • Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • CRM Recruit knowledge preferred
      • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Detail-oriented and organized
      • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
      • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
      • Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
      • Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments.
      • Team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and co-workers.
      • Willingness to learn new skills or techniques.

      Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
