- This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
- Fosters relationships with regulators, industry experts and stakeholders to proactively advocate and communicate the Company's policy, business, and regulatory positions to internal and external entities.
- Provides analytical support for regulatory, policy and business initiatives.
- Leads the preparation of applications/filings, testimony, work papers and complex compliance reports for submission to regulatory agencies.
- Assesses the potential impact of regulatory proposals, legislation, and other relevant material on the Company and facilitates intra-departmental review of such impacts.
- Support the implementation of regulatory decisions, including interdepartmental coordination, and assists with designing new tariffs or modifying existing tariffs in response to regulatory decisions and business initiatives.
- May provide training, guidance, and instruction to less experienced analysts.

- Create, Review Standards, Standard Work, Procedures, user manuals, training materials, job aids, and quick reference guides with accuracy, quality & alignment with compliance & regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 3 years
- Utility industry experience, Electric Operations
- Experience in regulatory matters, utility industry
- Strong written & communication skills
- Ability to travel 10+ percent of working time & flexibility with hybrid work
- Skills Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)

Department Overview
Major Infrastructure Delivery is largely a field-based organization made up of over 11,000 coworkers and contractors that ensure the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to approximately 16 million people throughout a 70,000 square-mile service area in northern and central California. The organization is accountable for the company's program to underground 10,000 miles of electric distribution lines to reduce wildfire risk, the System Inspection Program to identify potential risks to the safety and reliability of the system, and Vegetation Management to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of electricity. The Quality Management team supports the Major Infrastructure Delivery organization to meet or exceed established operational targets, including compliance requirements, KPIs, budget, and risk reduction strategies that support the company’s Purpose, Virtutes and Stands.
Position Summary
Regulatory Analysts helps to develop, manage the development, approval & implementation of regulatory strategy, policies through rulemaking proceedings, represents the company with state, provincial, federal regulators in the U.S. and Canada and advocate for the company with industry trade associations. Regulatory Analysts support operations & translates complex procedural information based on business requirements and standards into user-friendly references such as Policy and Procedures, user manuals and job aids. Collaborating with and gather information from internal and external clients to develop documentation that is easy to understand and use. Performs document editing, editing written materials prepared by other writers, document lifecycle management, basic web setup and document publishing. in the design, management, and negotiation for procurement solicitations to satisfy portfolio needs and policy objectives while minimizing costs to customers.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
CA Minimum: $97,000
CA Maximum: $154,000

Bay Minimum: $102,000
Bay Maximum: $162,000This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
