Job Description

- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure reporting requirements and processes for existing and new markets are well understood, and properly documented and implemented
- Owning regulatory reporting, including:
- Conducting daily position monitoring and provision of threshold alerts
- Entering daily positions into global regulatory databases to fulfil filing requirements
- Filing periodic regulatory filings
- Executing day-to-day tasks related to regulatory reporting status, and similar registrations
- Participating in the definition and buildout of a more automated regulatory reporting suite
- Monitoring different regulatory regimes to understand changes in reporting processes and requirements
- Supporting the response to regulatory inquiries, including gathering information as directed by Legal and Compliance
- Participating in ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Experience working in an equity-focused regulatory reporting role, ideally at an asset manager or similar, but bank or exchange experience will be considered
- A clear understanding of different global exchange and regulatory reporting requirements and processes
- Experience evaluating and documenting equity trading workflows and business process as it relates to trading and regulatory compliance
- Experience defining and documenting regulatory reporting processes and procedures
- Ability to proactively identify and improve manual or sub-optimal processes
- An understanding of multiple asset classes would be beneficial
- The ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with various stakeholders across the business, including senior management, trading, operations and control functions
- Experience in the use of JIRA, or similar, as a workflow management tool

The role
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is a new role within the Financial Market Operations team. You will be responsible for regulatory reporting with a focus on executing the existing reporting function and building a more automated reporting suite.
