      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in the preparation of Medicare and state cost reports for various hospitals within the system
      - Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects evaluating government payer reimbursement components
      - Assist in budgeting and forecasting net revenue, focusing on public payors
      - Research regulations to ensure compliance and support the organization’s position
      - Collaborate with a diverse team across multiple departments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Mathematics
      - Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare finance or reimbursement, including internships
      - Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
      - Excellent organizational and communication skills
      - Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; basic competency in Word required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with cost reports or in a fiscal intermediary role
      - Familiarity with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
      - Interest in government healthcare payment policy
      - Proven ability to thrive in a team environment that values self-motivation and independent thinking
