      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in the preparation of Medicare and state cost reports for hospitals across the system
      - Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects related to government payer reimbursement
      - Assist in budgeting and forecasting of net revenue, focusing on public payors
      - Research regulations to ensure compliance and support the employer’s position
      - Collaborate with various personnel across departments in a matrixed organization

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Mathematics
      - Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare finance or reimbursement
      - Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities for solving complex problems
      - Excellent organizational skills and effective communication skills
      - Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with basic competency in Word

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with cost reports or in a fiscal intermediary role
      - Familiarity with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
      - Interest in government healthcare payment policy
      - Enthusiasm for efficiency, automation, and work process improvement
