Achieve optimal market access conditions (optimal value-based access)
Advocate for fair reimbursement policies and patient access to innovative treatments
Analyze pricing and reimbursement dynamics to optimize product pricing strategies
Analyze trends, competitors and prices that can impact future price changes locally
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, policy makers, healthcare providers, payers, patient advocacy groups, healthcare industry groups, research institutes, academia, etc.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop market access strategy, messaging and dossiers
Conduct health economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses
Develop the value message of Medtronic therapies to the decision-makers and negotiate the reimbursement (coverage, coding and payment) with the health authorities as well as health technology assessment (HTA) entity
Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH) or related courses
Industry experience is highly regarded (Medical Devices)
At least 2 years of previous sales/marketing/relevant reimbursement experience in healthcare industry
Direct experience interacting and dealing with key opinion leaders and other leading roles in the scientific and clinical community
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korea languages
Computer and MS Office proficient
Excellent stakeholder relationship management
Good understanding and working knowledge of medical technology environment
Strong team player but can also work autonomously
Customer focused, self-motivated and positive

Reporting to Senior Reimbursment Manager, the Reimbursment Analyst is responsible for planning and making market access strategies for Medtronic innovative product and specialties: MITG and Restorative Therapies Group products. You will work closely with different stakeholders in conducting research and analysis to support the development of health economic, reimbursement strategies and value propositions for new or existing medical technologies. This is an individual contributor role and will be sitting at the Medtronic office in Seoul.
To be successful in this role, you must have good business acumen with good understanding of the medical technology regulatory environment. Having a highly adaptable, collaborative, innovative, strategic, and results-driven mindset with exceptional communication skills and resilience is essential for navigating the diverse landscape and driving impactful outcomes.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
