What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the preparation of Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare annual cost reports
- Support month-end preparation of interim Medicare/Medicaid settlement estimates
- Provide necessary documentation for various auditors, including independent, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Assist in preparation of Medicaid applications related to DSH and Uncompensated Care
- Maintain current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and cost reporting laws and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and task prioritization skills
