What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain Medica's Reimbursement Policies, ensuring they align with recognized industry standards
- Conduct research and present policy recommendations for committee votes
- Coordinate claims system changes to enhance claim payment accuracy
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on reimbursement policies
- Analyze data to determine financial impacts and develop actionable recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience beyond degree
- Strong understanding of coding and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
- Experience leading and facilitating process improvement teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CPC-P, COC, RHIT, CCS) strongly preferred
- Ability to prepare diverse information into effective presentations
