What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process over 500 patient demographics entries into the billing tool daily
- Ensure accurate data entry and notate accounts to enhance the patient experience
- Conduct quality control of daily entries through cross-referencing internal intelligence
- Set up insurance plan types in the billing platform for clean claims submission
- Verify patient insurance eligibility using electronic payer portals in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in professional and facility billing and collections
- Proficient in identifying insurance and plan types
- Experience with contacting insurance carriers regarding front-end rejections
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in computer skills, including intermediate to advanced MS Office, particularly Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with laboratory billing, Xifin, EDI enrollment, and payer portals
- Experience with high-volume billing and multiple accounts
