- Driving a proactive and collaborative environment across CCB
- Delivering sustainable growth in prime, active, clients by building existing client loyalty and identifying and winning opportunities to bring new high value clients to the Bank
- Delivering high levels of activity across prospects, existing clients and KBIs
- Progressing our ambition to transform Commercial Clients into a ‘Digital Bank with a Human Touch’
- Driving high levels of client insight and creating advocates of the Corporate Bank through your portfolio and wider network (responses from 75% of managed portfolio with min NPS 60% and Relationship Director Satisfaction of >90%)
- Embedding a strong risk culture, with conduct and stewardship well within CCBs risk compliance guidelines
- Experience of developing and driving a regional business development strategy, to deliver the Corporate Banks ambitious growth, through existing client network and intermediaries
- High level of credit underwriting skills and comprehensive knowledge of both account opening process, as well as how to onboard customers and manage their linked financial crime risk
- The capacity to build a positive, open, and inclusive culture, helping colleagues to be at their best
- A demonstration that you are embracing your own personal development, through a continuous learning environment and ethos, leveraging internal resources
- A clear understanding of new Consumer Duty requirements for the benefit of our clients
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and Ncino, with a track record of delivering right first-time processing
- Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
- We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
- 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year

We're Commercial Clients East of England; a highly engaged and energetic team providing Relationship Management to a portfolio of Santander Corporate & Commercial Banking clients.
As well as providing a high level of support to our existing clients, we're focused on winning exciting new clients (turnover up to £15m), that will develop into the Corporate Clients of the future. Our track record in delivering on this vision is widely recognised.

Our preferred location for this role is Leicester, and you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of Milton Keynes where our current expectation is at least 2 days in the office every week.
