- Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by the Credit Union while performing all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Originates commercial loans from internal referrals. Meets with applicant and collects documentation and required information. Negotiates structure, pricing, and terms of loan within established parameters. Prepares commitment letter and reviews closing documents before closing. Assists in the analysis of renewal or new loan requests by spreading and analyzing financial statements and prepares written summaries of credit data. Makes loan recommendations to manager and approving body for approval of loans in excess of individual lending authority. Underwrites loans and disburses advances within Greylock’s approved policies and procedures. Thoroughly documents loan decisions and/or exceptions and follows up on documentation as required by policy. Responsible for the quality and completion of loan files as they relate to job descriptions.
- Services existing Credit Union relationships and ensures receipt of the updated financial statements, follows up on member needs, support ancillary products (RDC, ACH), provides advice and makes visits to member site as warranted. Ensures documents and loan files are complete.
- Support loan officers through policy knowledge, process, underwriting and credit structuring as needed. Ensure loan analysis is complete and thoroughly documented.
- Acts as a resource and liaison between commercial lending and loan servicing support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and excellent member service.
- Coordinates the Credit Union commercial collection activities. Oversee the collections of delinquent loans. Analyzes workout proposals for feasibility in terms of member ability to follow through in comparison to other alternatives. Negotiates restructure terms of borrowers. Monitors and identifies problem loans and ensures appropriate risk rating. Performs analysis of collateral and determines appropriate reserves. Prepares necessary documentation in the form of Criticized Asset reports according within Credit Union deadlines.
- Prepares necessary documentation for the renewal and extension of new mortgages and commercial loans. Updates financial statements and credit histories. Reviews documentation when requested to determine its adequacy and quality and the need to obtain new documents to support additional or new advances.
- Prepare a variety of reports on a scheduled and as-needed basis. Discusses reports and suggests additional information needed.
- Promotes the Credit Union wherever and whenever possible. Encouraged to actively represent the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations.
- Bachelor's degree plus specialized training in lending, credit or related subjects.
- At least three years’ experience in bank credit.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of the commercial lending markets.
- Able to use various types of office software, spreadsheet applications and PC proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Under the general direction of the VP and Manager of Business Banking, the Relationship Manager originates and underwrites loan products in conformance with established Credit Union policies, strategies and procedures, manages a loan portfolio and provides advanced support to commercial lenders.
This position requires registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry on an annual basis in addition to maintaining updates as needed. Initial registration is required immediately upon hire into this position.

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $105,000.00. This is the salary range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more than the posted range for exceptionally qualified individuals. An employee’s pay position within the pay band will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience (job and life), skills (specific and transferable), seniority, performance, and business organizational needs. This range may also be modified in the future.
