      POSITION OVERVIEW

      dormakaba is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) based in Indianapolis, IN. This is a hybrid role. The Release Train Engineer is responsible for the planning and facilitation of all major Agile Release Train (ART) events, the oversight over Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes and supporting the teams in delivering value. The RTE is responsible for communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement.

      HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

      WHAT YOU WILL DO

      • Work with the engineering management and development teams to maximize productivity and/or quality
      • Organize and monitor schedules and ensure that deadlines are met
      • Coordinate efforts within at least one ART, and support cross-ART coordination
      • Provide key metrics to management and teams, support stakeholder in analysis and interpretation
      • Monitor utilization within the ART and help ensure resources are used efficiently

      WHAT WE REQUIRE

      • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, IT or related field
      • 5+ years of agile development (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, …)
      • Practical experience as Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master – alternatively recognized certification in any of these areas
      • Ability to travel up to 25% internationally to Canada and Europe

      WHAT WE PREFER

      • Experience as RTE for a “Large Solution” or “Portfolio” SAFe configuration
      • Experience in continuous improvement of train setups
      • Experience in a heterogeneous environment of project driven and product driven innovation
      • Experience with Lean Portfolio Management or comparable enterprise planning methodologies
