      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Answer inbound calls with professionalism and excellent customer service
      - Follow up with inbound calls to find resolutions and handle soft transfers
      - Assist with appointment scheduling and follow up on missed appointments
      - Triage calls to determine the nature and escalate as necessary
      - Maintain call logs and complete necessary forms and reports
      - Perform tasks assigned by management team
      - Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
      - Provide support to clinical team and assist with chart maintenance
      - Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Clerical Team and Call Center Supervisor
      - Hybrid remote role with 2 days from home and 3 days on-site

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - 1 to 2 years of Call Center Representative experience in a fast-paced office, preferably in medical or community mental health
      - Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
      - Ability to learn new software
      - Ability to work with difficult clients
      - Detail-oriented and able to multitask
      - Team player
      - Ability to thrive under pressure in an outpatient client environment
      - Valid picture ID and Social Security Card

      New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (“NYPCC”) was founded in 1974 as a non-profit community oriented mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. We are now comprised of seven program locations, using evidence-based practices and cutting edge rehabilitation techniques to provide out-patient mental health services to the community, including Seriously and Persistently Mentally ill adults and Seriously Emotionally Disturbed children and adolescents in Brooklyn and Queens.
