      Position: Azure Site Reliability Engineer

      Locations: Florida (Remote)

      Duration: Contract

      Job Description:

      • Knowledge of Azure. Certification to associate or professional level would be an advantage.
      • Demonstrated experience as DevOps/Cloud Engineer, SRE, Application Support or Monitoring Team member for more than 2 years.
      • 2 plus years of experience using the azure performance, logging, and monitoring toolsets for troubleshooting.
      • Three or more years working in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment (ZOS, UNIX, Windows)
      • Three or more years demonstrated experience in working with relational (and/or hierarchical) databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.)
      • Demonstrated experience of modern software application technologies. Experience in building or supporting robust and scalable infrastructure architectures
      • Two or more years of experience in Release management practices using (rather than developing with) DevOps tooling including: Bitbucket, Jira, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, HashiStack (Terraform, Vault, Consul), CloudFormation, ELK, Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace would be an advantage.
      • Experience working under a DevOps culture, implementing, and supporting applications using continuous integration and deployment techniques in an enterprise environment. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
      • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving and time management skills
      • Positive outlook, strong work ethic and responsive to internal and external customers and contacts.
      • Willingly and successfully fulfils the role of teacher, mentor, and coach.
      • May require knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware,

      MUST HAVE:

      • Experience in Cloud migration projects
      • SRE support engineer experience.
      • 2+ years of Java or DOT NET microservices coding background
      • Azure Developer or any other Azure certification
      • Worked in Operations Role supporting applications on Azure
