      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure timely completion of applications for initial and re-credentialing by assisting applicants with necessary documentation
      - Maintain an accurate physician database and perform daily data entry tasks
      - Communicate regularly with applicants and healthcare professionals to meet credentialing criteria within specified timeframes
      - Conduct file audits and provide feedback on completed credentialing files
      - Assist in the training and orientation of new team members

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; an Associate degree in health administration or related field preferred
      - One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with general knowledge of the healthcare industry
      - Familiarity with NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and hospital policies and procedures
      - Proficiency in database organization and management, as well as Windows-based word processing software
      - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Current CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility by the National Association Medical Staff Services
      - Experience in a credentialing role within a healthcare organization
