We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective remote technical assistance to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of their desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support to end-users experiencing hardware, software, or network-related issues.
2. Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
3. Utilize remote desktop tools to access and troubleshoot user devices.
4. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and operating systems.
5. Collaborate with other IT professionals to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
6. Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner to non-technical end-users.
7. Create and update documentation for support processes, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
8. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance technical skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Remote Desktop Support Specialist or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
3. Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Basic understanding of networking concepts.
7. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent is a plus.
8. Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy is preferred.
