What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage and welcome customers to the Gift Registry Department
- Deliver an exceptional and personalized customer experience
- Meet or exceed sales and new account goals
- Become a product knowledge expert, especially in the Home Department
- Commit to building customer relationships and loyalty through the maintenance of a client book
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School or GED
- 1-2 years of experience
- Prior Home Store related experience and/or training preferred
- Exceptional telephone etiquette
- Proficient in use of computers (including Microsoft Office and the Internet)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Experience in building client relationships
- Social ease and quick response to customer needs and inquiries
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a learning environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
