Job Description

- Investigating and resolving disputes related to electronic funds transfers (EFTs) as per Regulation E standards.
- Investigate, resolve and close disputes cases at an average of 25 – 30 cases daily.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations during the dispute process.
- File chargebacks against the disputed merchants through the network (when applicable) as part of the dispute’s recovery process.
- Update and notate dispute cases concisely and accurately within GreenDot’s internal dispute manager application (Salesforce).
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as compliance and fraud departments, to address and resolve disputes.
- Monitoring dispute cases to identify trends and report findings to management.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of dispute resolution procedures and policies.
- Providing customer service and support throughout the dispute resolution process.
- Must have at least one year experience resolveing disupts cases under Reg-e guidelines.
- Ability to efficiently handle customer disputes and inquiries regarding electronic transactions.
- Able to navigate through several programs quickly, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Visa Resolve Online (VROL), and Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and report dispute findings.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of disputes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve disputes.
- Be thorough and efficient with minimal supervision.
- Able to apply appropriate rules and guidelines to situations that do not have a standard procedure.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Exel and Outlook.
- Critical and outside-of-the-box thinker.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to manage and resolve disputes effectively.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Visa chargeback processing experience

Job Summary

The targeted base salary for this position is $37,500 to $57,300 per year.
