What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Financially clear patients for each visit type, admit type, and area of service
- Collect and document accurate demographic and financial information
- Verify patient insurance information and communicate with third-party payers
- Screen outpatient visits for medical necessity and provide cost estimates
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of financial clearance experience in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of third-party and government payer billing and reimbursement guidelines
- National certification in HFMA CRCR and/or NAHAM CHAA within 1 year of hire
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and Microsoft Office

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in healthcare services or insurance verification
