      Bupa Remote GP

      Salaried / Self-employed

      Role Overview

      Bupa Remote GP service are recruiting General Practitioners to provide digital primary care GP and menopause consultations via telephone and video to our customers, according to Bupa Health Clinics policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-quality service delivering high customer satisfaction.

      As a Remote GP, you will:

      • Deliver private GP consultations, digitally, via telephone and video
      • Complete an online menopause training programme and receive ongoing clinical support via a Bupa menopause community - not obligatory.
      • Deliver menopause appointments: 45 minute initial consultations, 15 minute & 30 minutes follow up consultations - not obligatory.
      • Undertake clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice
      • Manage clinical workload from the remote GP clinical team including additional duties such as supporting the services management of results and deputising for colleagues
      • Receive full training on our clinical systems during your induction
      • Manage clinical and non-clinical systems during consultation
      • Provide clinical advice and guidance to colleagues, including administrative staff
      • Keep up to date with clinical knowledge and complete CPD requirement in line with annual GMC appraisal requirements
      • Engage in incident reporting and investigation as outlined in our BHC incident Management and reporting policy
      • Support Central Operations Manager, Team Managers and Lead Physician in management of complaints in line with the Bupa policy
      • Work with the Lead Physician on quality activities including clinical and notes audits

      What We’re Looking For:

      • Must have at least 1 year of relevant post full registration experience
      • To be GMC registered with a licence to practice and on the GP register
      • MRCGP
      • Member of a Medical Defence Organisation
      • Excellent clinical decision making skills
      • Good IT skills
      • Experience in telephone consulting
      • Experience of continual audit and quality improvement work
      • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training certificate
      • Current Safeguarding Level 3 training certificate
