Remote General Practitioner (Homebased)

Permanent / Salaried

Minimum 4 sessions a week (each session is 4 hours long)

You’ll help us make health happen by:

Remote GPs deliver remote primary care consultations to Bupa customers, in the UK, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man, offering services between 6AM to 10PM weekdays and 8AM to 10PM weekends and bank holidays.

We also have a network of dedicated Bupa Health Clinics across the UK (which have superb CQC reports), and you will be joining a community of over 200 GP’s delivering services and treatments to everyone – not just those with health insurance.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Being a Remote Bupa GP means a rewarding role. Your duties will include, but not limited to:

· Delivering remote GP consultations

· Undertaking clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice

· Attending and participating in clinical meetings / training sessions as required

· Engaging in incident reporting and investigations

· Supporting Remote Team Manager and Remote Lead Physician in management of complaints

· Participating in an annual clinical review and competency assessments within Bupa

· Working with the Remote Lead Physician on quality improvement activities including audits

· Providing clinical advice and guidance to colleagues, which may include health advisors and administrative staff.

· GMC registered with a license to practice and on the GP register.

· A professional, but not robotic manner - your caring nature should extend across patients and colleagues.

· Great time management and flexibility

· Experience of working in a remote setting

· Demonstrating clinical excellence, and professionalism across the role
