What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Proactively find new group accounts
- Utilize strong selling skills to close business deals
- Travel approximately 30% of the time
- Attend trade shows, conventions, and sales trips
- Negotiate pricing and adhere to booking guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clients and various departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in Group Sales in the luxury hotel or resort market
- Strong prospecting and selling skills
- Availability to travel and work weekends/holidays
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work well under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the Midwest and Northeast markets
- Previous experience in new business development
- Familiarity with servicing accounts in the hospitality industry
