What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advanced-level HR leave of absence administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Leave of Absence program and provide consultation to managers and colleagues
- Review, coordinate, and process all activities related to Short Term Disability, Military Leave, Family Medical Leave, and Workers’ Compensation claims
- Develop and maintain efficient processes to support customers within service level agreements
- Facilitate meetings with HR and cross-functional teams to evaluate trends and provide statistical data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of four (4) to five (5) years of progressive experience in a Disability Analyst/Coordinator/Specialist role in a high-volume work environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources, leave administration, and contact/service center operations
- Occupational/Employee Health background and/or Disability Management background
- Knowledge of HR law, FMLA, ADAAA, and Workers’ Compensation regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience managing leaves through technology solutions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience in vendor management
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, Kronos, and PeopleSoft
- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting in front of groups
