What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Track and trace shipments, rerouting them if necessary
- Take orders from customers, enter them into the system, and troubleshoot any problems
- Settle down angry customers, explain shipment details, and resolve issues
- Handle issues that arise while tracking and tracing shipments
- Communicate with customers, clients, train stations, and truck drivers to provide updates and information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with various systems and portals
- Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday from 0800-1600
- Associate Degree/Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a degree program
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Logistics background or experience is helpful
- Experience in customer service or problem-solving roles in a shipping or freight environment
