What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide remote video and telephone interpretation services
- Assist with medical, social service, and other types of appointments
- Take assignments based on availability
- Maintain professionalism and accuracy in interpretation
- Follow company guidelines and protocols for interpretation services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of an accredited interpreter training program (at least 40 hours)
- Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or completion of a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation
- Previous professional experience in remote video interpretation services preferred but not required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
- Multilingual abilities
- Experience in interpretation or translation services
