What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and ensure safe and effective medication use
- Verify practitioner orders and screen for drug interactions
- Assess orders for age-specific appropriateness
- Assist in meeting operational and clinical program goals
- Document clinical interventions and communicate incomplete assignments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy School
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an inpatient/acute care hospital pharmacist
- Experience with electronic health records systems
- Strong knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
