  Remote Clinical Review Pharmacist – 100% Remote, Entry Level PBM

  $55/hr | Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | 100% Remote

  What You'll Do

  • Evaluate clinical criteria for coverage determinations (PAs, formulary exceptions, quantity overrides)
  • Review requests independently while ensuring accuracy and fairness
  • Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams to guide care
  • Optional call center counseling roles available post-training

  Training & Scheduling

  • Training: 16 weeks | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST
  • Includes hands-on practice audits, interactive modules, and expert-led live sessions
  • Heads-up: Time off during training is very limited
  • Post-training schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts starting at 9:00 or 10:00 AM CST
  • Bidding-based scheduling (fairly distributed based on seniority)
  • Overtime common in peak season (Nov–May)
  • Rotating holidays/weekends—also via bid

  Ideal Candidate Traits

  • PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy
  • 2+ years in retail, clinical, or managed care settings
  • Attention to detail with excellent clinical judgment
  • Strong written communication and decision-making skills
  • Motivated to work remotely with high standards and purpose

  Logistics & Extras

  • Up to 120 hours of unpaid time off annually (tenure-based)
  • 6+ month contract with high conversion likelihood
  • Start window: September–October
  • Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing (any U.S. state except CA, HI, or VA)

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
