What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to mimic pilot actions and communications during training exercises
- Respond to voice commands from students and simulate pilot actions using automated systems
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Complete necessary certifications, including classroom testing and hands-on lab performance
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support air traffic controller training services

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear and understandable verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience and certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
- Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic knowledge of current technological tools (tablets, notebooks, applications)
- Experience with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
