What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system
- Simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities
- Receive voice commands from students and input proper entries into the system
- Translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology
- Respond to students via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
- Working knowledge of the FAAO JO 7110.65
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Familiarization with current technologic tools and pilot/controller communications or phraseology
