What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate pilot actions and communications
- Respond to voice commands from students and input proper entries into the automated system
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Perform as a Remote Pilot Operator during training exercises in a simulator environment
- Complete required certifications related to classroom knowledge and lab performance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear verbal communication skills to ensure understanding
- U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience and certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
- Working knowledge of the FAAO JO 7110.65
- Effective team-building skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Basic familiarity with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
