What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the recruiting team during the onboarding process of new providers and provide weekly credentialing updates
- Obtain and maintain provider credentialing documents and escalate issues as necessary
- Conduct payer research and manage applications for provider enrollment
- Support the Provider Enrollment Department and assist with payer issues related to credentialing
- Maintain provider enrollment processes and keep stakeholders informed of challenges in new markets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of successful work experience in physician credentialing and/or physician enrollment
- Proficiency in provider credentialing databases/websites/portals (e.g., CAQH, NPPES, PECOS)
- Working knowledge of the revenue cycle process
- Availability for overtime as required by management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Modio software is preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related field
