What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and process study budgets for all research trials utilizing sponsor's protocol
- Draft and prepare Medicare Coverage Analysis for review by Contracts Manager
- Maintain a list of relevant vendor costs and track pricing and payments from USOR and Medicare
- Create and update Research Billing Guides (RBG) and Case Report Forms (CRFs) for proper tracking and payment of research services
- Upload necessary documents to appropriate databases and ensure billing reconciliation occurs for independent trials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology research and healthcare billing
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Relevant experience preparing budgets and proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with medical billing, CPT codes, and electronic records is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with oncology research and healthcare billing strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare Coverage Analysis and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in budget preparation
- Previous experience coordinating research billing and documentation processes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with various departments and personnel
