What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to utilize remote sensing data for research and teaching
- Manage and develop software for processing remote sensing images and data visualization
- Oversee hardware operations for 3D processing and visualization
- Independently create methods and work with faculty, students, and partners to complete projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What is Required (Qualifications):
- MS or PhD in remote sensing, computer science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in advanced image and point-cloud processing techniques
- Familiarity with satellite, aerial, and drone-based datasets and their processing
- Proficient coding skills in Python and/or C-languages, with experience in industry remote sensing software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in applying computer vision and machine learning algorithms to spatial data analyses
- Familiarity with data wrangling and database management of remote sensing data types
- Ability to teach advanced processing techniques to students
- Experience collaborating with external groups on data-related issues
