What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather requirements and design solutions using the employer's application suite
- Integrate the application suite with third-party software interfaces
- Develop and maintain project documentation and standard operating procedures
- Lead training sessions with customers and provide implementation support
- Act as a liaison between the employer, customers, third-party vendors, and industry consultants
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College diploma or University degree in a related technical field (e.g., Electric or Computer Engineering, Computer Science)
- Strong grasp of SQL and experience with one or more Enterprise Database Software such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments
- Ability to travel in North America up to 30% of the time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software implementation
- Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design (C/C++ or Java)
- Previous experience in training customers and writing technical documents
- Familiarity with the Utilities industry
