      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide educational and support programs that enhance deployment and mission readiness for military service and family members
      - Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including first-term service members and socially isolated families
      - Deliver training and workshops on various topics related to deployment, family readiness, and personal financial management
      - Liaise with ashore and afloat commands to ensure effective outreach and support
      - Facilitate career decision-making and transitions from military to civilian life for service members and their families

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or four years of equivalent experience
      - Demonstrated experience in providing advocacy services and collaborating with internal and external resources
      - Strong oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
      - Knowledge of social services and education delivery systems
      - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and willingness to operate within established guidelines of the Navy Fleet and Family Support Program

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
      - Understanding of the military lifestyle as a military family member
      - Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
