What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with business teams to implement analytical and data solutions
- Collect, store, process, analyze, and model large sets of data
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL flows in cloud and on-premise environments
- Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and data scientists to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer and information science
- Minimum 3 years of related data engineering/IT experience
- Proven experience with Apache Spark framework, Hadoop, Java/Scala, Python, and AWS architecture
- 2+ years of experience in data modeling/database development using PL/SQL and SQL Server 2016 or later
- Good working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Snowflake and Python certification
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines using tools like Informatica, Airflow, or Kafka
- Strong business analysis skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
