What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee preconstruction management for industrial building projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with design criteria
- Coordinate engineering and architectural specifications, including site surveys and internal requirements
- Develop supporting documents for lease execution, including schedules and phasing plans
- Create construction estimates and manage due diligence efforts prior to construction hand-off
- Maintain a comprehensive repository for all pre-construction documentation in Procore
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in construction management or a related field
- Familiarity with a variety of design and construction concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong project management skills and experience with high-volume vendor management
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others, demonstrating creativity and autonomy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience in high-volume vendor management
- Experience with parking lots is desirable
- Background in engineering or building design
- Familiarity with ProCore, Chime, and Zoom platforms
- Previous experience in operational buildings
