What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Develop and implement machine learning optimization and predictive models for energy trading
- Create and automate machine learning time series forecasting models for energy storage and asset management
- Develop and implement a framework for testing machine learning models
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot machine learning operations programs
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to enrich and optimize the data pipeline

What is Required (Qualifications):

- 8-10+ years of machine learning software engineering or coding experience
- At least 2 years in team leadership roles
- Experience in production-ready coding environments
- Expertise in machine learning model deployment and MLOps
- Proficiency in Python-based optimization toolkits
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sagemaker
- Knowledge of convex optimization techniques and time-series forecasting
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
- Preferred experience in energy trading or financial trading sector
- Preferred understanding of national energy markets and renewable energy portfolios

- Experience working in senior, lead, principal, manager, and director-level roles in related fields
