What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on financial modeling initiatives for utility-scale battery storage projects across various regions
- Take ownership of financial models related to project off-take, bidding, debt/equity structuring, and tax incentive strategies
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop financial analysis and forecasting tools for corporate financing and renewable project assessments
- Optimize financial analytic processes and mitigate risks by reviewing industry macroeconomic trends affecting the renewables sector
- Participate in discussions related to utility-scale renewables, including solar, wind, and energy storage
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Project finance experience in Power, Renewables, Capital Markets, or Energy Infrastructure transactions
- Strong expertise in project finance modeling using Microsoft Excel and experience in debt/equity structuring
- Proven experience with complex debt equity structures and tax equity transactions
- Excellent communication skills to present complex analyses to stakeholders
- Ability to engage in advanced discussions within the utility-scale renewables sector
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in advanced project finance deal execution
- Familiarity with national energy power markets such as PJM, ERCOT, and others is beneficial
