  (Aerial Equipment Mechanic | Field Technician | Heavy Equipment Repair)

  Mustang Rental Services is hiring an experienced Aerial Rental Equipment Field Service Technician to support our growing operations in League City, Texas. If you’re a skilled technician with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience, this is your opportunity to join a trusted name in the construction and industrial equipment rental industry.

  What You’ll Do:

  As a Field Technician specializing in aerial rental equipment, you’ll diagnose, service, and repair a variety of heavy and light equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and more. Your primary responsibility will be restoring equipment to peak performance through proactive maintenance and responsive field repairs.

  Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose service needs for aerial and general rental equipment in the field
  • Perform necessary repairs and routine maintenance on-site or at customer locations
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Provide professional and timely service in a fast-paced field environment
  • Document repairs and communicate effectively with dispatch and service supervisors

  Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must own proper tools to perform repairs
  • Associate degree or technical certificate preferred
  • Previous experience or military background in equipment maintenance
  • Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  Technician Levels:

  Entry-Level Technician:
  Ability to perform basic service tasks such as: contamination control, use of hand tools, measuring, blocking, interpreting schematics, and basic fluid systems.

  Intermediate Technician:
  Capable of conducting preventive maintenance, disassembly/reassembly, component testing, and basic failure analysis.

  Advanced Technician:
  Demonstrates leadership and deep technical knowledge in advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex system repairs. Sought out for mentorship and field guidance.
