- At least 1 season of rental shop experience
- Familiarity with RTP POS and Tech modules (or similar rental systems)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive leadership style
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Oversee daily rental shop operations and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for guests
- Supervise, train, and support team members to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism
- Address guest questions, complaints, and escalated issues, ensuring timely and thoughtful resolutions
- Monitor staff timekeeping and scheduling in accordance with company policy
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization; ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and stored correctly
- Track and maintain rental inventory to meet demand and uphold industry standards
- Maintains binding calibration on all rental skis
- Helps oversee and maintain repairs of rental equipment
- Ensure all team members follow company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Hotel and Village Services teams to coordinate rental needs for homeowners and hotel guests
- Work closely with the Group Sales department to anticipate and prepare for group rental needs and special events
- Stay informed of company practices, departmental protocols, and applicable labor laws
- Operate independently and take initiative in the absence of the Rental Manager
- Support interdepartmental communication and contribute to a cohesive guest services experience
- Perform occasional snow removal and other physical tasks as needed

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a Rentals Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Rental Shop with a strong focus on guest service, team development, and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is committed to creating memorable guest experiences.
