      Job Description

      The Rep Diet Office reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

      Responsible for answering the telephone, processing communications regarding diet orders and maintaining the diet office system with current, correct information.

      Responsibilities:

      • Processes diet orders, discharges, transfers, admits, nutrition notes, menus and patient preferences correctly.

      • Assures BHS and 1N menus are correct and all patients have a meal ordered.

      • Fills out, enters and prints all paperwork in a timely, organized and complete manner - nourishment labels, Patient List with Notes, Unables, Missed Meals Report, menu entry menus and supplement and floorstock charges.

      • 3.4 Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

      • Basic computer knowledge

      • Food Handler Certification within 180 days of hire

      Preferred:

      • Six months experience
