      Req#: 6020355

Are you a skilled seamstress, tailor, or sewing technician with a passion for the outdoors? At Fjällräven, we believe in creating gear that lasts for generations—and in repairing it to keep it on the trail even longer. Our Repair Center restores well-loved outdoor clothing and gear, extending the life of each piece while reducing waste.

We’re looking for an Outdoor Clothing & Gear Repair Specialist to perform detailed repairs on jackets, backpacks, and other technical apparel. If you have experience in garment alterations, apparel repairs, or gear restoration, this is a chance to put your skills to work in a purpose-driven, hands-on role.

This is a full-time, hourly position based in Aurora, CO, with a pay range of $19-$22 per hour.

        WHAT YOU WILL DO

You’ll bring garments and gear back to life using your technical sewing abilities and attention to detail, ensuring every repair meets our brand’s high standards of craftsmanship and function.

        Product Repairs & Quality Control

        • Perform complex repairs such as zipper replacements, patching, re-stitching, and seam reinforcement
        • Use industrial sewing machines, sergers, button-press tools, and heat equipment
        • Follow brand guidelines to ensure functionality, durability, and aesthetic consistency

        Operations & Workflow Management

        • Intake and prioritize repair requests for timely processing
        • Track repair volume and ensure accurate documentation
        • Maintain repair tools and communicate supply needs

        Collaboration & Process Development

        • Work with the Repair Center Supervisor and Warranty team to improve workflows
        • Support training initiatives for new team members or seasonal help
        • Recommend improvements to increase product longevity and reduce textile waste

        Sustainability in action

        • Apply repair techniques that align with Fjällräven’s sustainability initiatives and circular economy goals
        • Help shift consumer behavior toward mindful repair and away from disposability

          WHO YOU ARE

          Experience and Technical Skills

          • Previous experience performing high-volume apparel repairs, such as experience as a seamstress, tailor, apparel technician, or in costume/garment repair
          • Advanced sewing skills, including zipper replacement, patching, and fabric reinforcement
          • Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines, sergers, button-press machines, and high-heat tools
          • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to track and report productivity
          • Formal training in fashion, sewing, textile repair, or a related field is preferred

          Traits and Attributes

          • Strong attention to detail and high standards for craftsmanship
          • Proactive, efficient, organized, and comfortable meeting deadlines
          • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
          • A passion for sustainability and a strong alignment with Fjällräven’s commitment to responsible business practices

          Physical Requirements
