      JOB SUMMARY:

      Hand finish and deburr a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the industry.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Basic knowledge of General / Principal Methods of Operation (RP’s, OH, DE, SOPMs)
      • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
      • Disassembly functions performed
      • Perform installation of Inserts and Studs (Interface Fit, Slip Fit, Force Mate) to specified requirements and tolerances.
      • Comprehend and use torque values.
      • Perform installation and bonding of details into parts (Hysol, Loctite).
      • Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed properly.
      • Perform rework assignments as required by SME/Supervisor.
      • Utilize and care for a variety of tools.
      • Assist with and abide by shelf life compliance.
      • Ensure all DOT Hazards Waste Management and Procedure are followed.
      • Work with EH&S Policies, Hazard Communication & Hazardous Materials.

      EDUCATION:

      • Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification
      • FAA Airframe and Power plant certificate preferred

      EXPERIENCE:

      • 0-6+ months aircraft maintenance experience required.
      • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance preferred.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable
